Sarah and Tom are self-proclaimed history buffs and they love DC, so it was super appropriate that we met near the monuments in Washington for  their engagement session. They initially opted out of the engagement session, but later decided otherwise when they heard I was coming to DC. Since I’m shooting their wedding this summer (at the Barn at Fallingwater in southwest PA…so excited for the venue!!), I was super excited that they changed their mind so we’d have a chance to meet before the big day! AND it was great being-in-front-of-the-camera practice for them. 😉

Here are some of my faves from their collection…

Sarah is so soft and sweet in this one…

How cute are they!?! These are definitely all-time faves!!

Oh wait…this is an all-time fave, too!! Love all the colors and so thankful we found some beautiful blossoms!

These history buffs requested a picture with Jefferson. 🙂

Thanks for changing your mind about the engagement session, Sarah and Tom! It was so great to meet you BEFORE the wedding and get some practice. I think you guys will be even cuter on the wedding day. 🙂 See you in August!
