JFP APPROACH
Whether it's marrying in front of a waterfall, having a "welcome hour" instead of a cocktail hour, or standing in a sea of forest ferns, I'm looking for inspiration to pair with the easy, fun and efficient wedding photography experience. We'll talk on the phone, hopefully do an engagement session, and on the wedding day, we'll be hanging out as friends. That's when the genuine smiles, natural moments in between and feeling comfortable snuggling in front of the camera comes out.
You can get married in so many different ways here and some of the especially unique ways really get me excited! (Elopement ceremony in a stream, anyone?) Whether you want to elope in the forest, have a backyard wedding with a small group or throw a larger party, I can put together a wedding package for you. Or if you simply don’t know where and how you want to marry, let me help you figure your Deep Creek wedding! (I know all the vendors!)
With over 330 weddings photographed, I’ve seen a little bit of everything and know how wedding days operate. Because guys, it's about way more than pretty pictures. It’s about managing people and working an efficient timeline, all while being inspired by light, the moments in between and a variety of settings to compose the photos you see on this site.

You can hand over the trust! Trust that I’ll capture what’s needed and will know exactly how to handle most people-y situations. Not shot lists or Pinterest boards needed.
You're okay with getting a little chatty! When we get on the phone or meet for your engagement session, I hope we can talk for a while and get to know each other.
Communication is important! A special high five if you’re okay discussing photography matters on the phone and agree it can be more efficient than emails.

Jessica was the first vendor we booked. In fact, we didn't solidify our wedding date until we knew she was free! I can't even begin to say how much we loved getting to work with her, and how seamless she made the whole picture-taking experience. When we got our sneak peek of some of our photos, we were blown away! Whether it’s just the two of you eloping or you’re having 30 people in the backyard, I can create a package for you!
Packages range from $850 to $3950
Engagement sessions and second shooters/photo assistants can be included. All packages include a recommended amount of coverage hours, an online gallery of edited images (easily shared with others and never taken down), downloadable images, and a release that says you can print on your own!
