Maybe I should be a “barn only” wedding photographer. Every time I photograph a wedding at a barn, the overall experience is just awesome. Beautiful venue, wonderful decorations and details, super fun couple and wedding party, delicious food, AND plenty of photo ops! All these factors seem to come together at each barn wedding I have, including Sara and Josh’s…

Sara and Josh were married at the beautiful, rustic West Overton Barn in Scottdale, PA (it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite venues!). The barn was decorated in purple by The Simply Sweet Shoppe and the ceremony took place in front of an old home in the village. Were we blessed with beautiful weather, a beautiful venue, and everyone involved was blessed with an awesome couple. Sara and Josh are so fun. They smiled and laughed the entire day, mostly with each other, and it was refreshing to watch their joy unfold as the day progressed. They were genuinely excited about being married and I’m so glad I was there to capture it all…

I love the lace detail in Sara’s dress! It reminded me of mine. 🙂

The Simply Sweet Shoppe rents these letters! Yes, like letters you’d see in Vegas…in their sign graveyard! Owner Nicole told me they have every letter of the alphabet available!
