Sara is one of my very special friends from MOPS. I don’t remember exactly how we met, but MOPS brought us together and I’m so thankful. For over a year, we’ve been getting together for play dates and our two little girls have become the best of friends. Our families are also very similar! Sara and I are both stay-at-home moms, our husbands work in similar industries, we both have 3-year old daughters and we both have baby boys! Ally is also about three months older than Vivienne and Jack is about three months older than Theo! Our families really do line up very well. 🙂
When Sara asked me to take Theo’s newborn pictures, I was so honored and excited! Being a part of such a special time in people’s lives, especially in the lives of good friends, is so rewarding and joyful. Theo looks so much like his sister Vivienne and I think it’s definitely noticeable throughout these pictures. He was definitely one of the easiest newborns I’ve ever photographed, so there are lots of sleepy portraits in this one!
Love the yellow color of this hand-knit blanket! It matches Theo’s room. 🙂
And now for Theo’s room, put together by Sara! She did a wonderful job with the wall decorations and curtains!
Theo’s dad is a huge LSU fan, so Sara requested these pictures…
Vivienne was visiting family in Tennessee during the newborn session, so Sara brought the kiddos over to my house the following week for some pictures with the new big sister!
And then we thought it would be fun to get a picture of all four of our kiddos. It didn’t turn out so well, as you can see. Don’t worry, no kids were harmed in the making of this picture. 🙂
Thanks so much for having me, Sara! I’m excited to watch our kids grow up together! 🙂
