I met Sara and Josh at Sara’s college alma mater and a familiar childhood place of mine, St. Vincent College. I hadn’t been on campus in probably six years and I was impressed by the changes. The St. Vincent campus has grown by leaps and bounds since I was there last and it definitely made for a beautiful place for engagement pictures.

Sara and Josh’s engagement session started off a little serious. Josh wasn’t super thrilled about taking pictures (what guy is?) and Sara and I were trying to convince him that it wouldn’t be that bad, and that he only had to suck it up for an hour. So we started taking pictures like this…

And the mood quickly changed to this…

I quickly learned that Sara and Josh like to laugh together and it’s usually Josh instigating the giggles. 🙂

Love this one! The clean lines, the classy black and white…

More giggles!! I was definitely OK with their laughter during the session. Gives a little bit of life to their pictures, don’t ya think? 🙂

Then we noticed this area just steps from campus and I couldn’t resist those wildflowers and that setting sun! Ahhhhh!!!

Nice work there, Ms. Jessica Fike. Good luck getting those two to be serious. On second thought, don’t even try. Let them have fun!
