How cute is this “family in purple”?!? It’s pretty rare that I have families coordinate this well during a session, so when Allison and her crew got out of the car, I was very impressed, and knew that we were in for some good family portraits. A baby in lace ruffles and a matching ensemble for her big sister!?! There’s bound to be lots of cuteness in this one! 🙂

I met Allison’s family at Coopers Rock on a weekday evening. We avoided the crowds, avoided the blazing heat and luckily avoided some looming thunderstorms. The kiddos may not have wanted to smile for the camera as much as mom and dad hoped, but we were still able to get a bunch of good portraits of everyone. I hope these will go well on your designated wall at home, Allison!
