My blogging has been subpar lately (so sorry to my regular followers!). I set a goal of blogging at least 2-3 times per week when busy season started, but I haven’t been meeting that goal. So I’m a little behind in blogging…still needing to blog sessions and a wedding from June (I know, I know, it’s August-almost-September right now!). I’m a little bummed that I haven’t been able to keep up, but most of my time has gone to editing and emailing (oh, and my family, too!). I not only pride myself in producing awesome images for my clients, but also in being an awesome communicator with them! Those are a two HUGE things for me as a business owner/artist so if blogging has to slack just a little to keep those things doing well, I’m willing to accept the current situation. 🙂 I’ve also been working on a BIG project for JFP this summer so that’s taken up some time, too. 😉 Anyways…
Here’s Presley and Nathan! They’re getting married this Saturday and it felt only appropriate to make them my newest blog post! Check out how sweet these two are: friendly smiles, innocent laughs and warm, cozy love. Presley and Nathan agreed to meet me in my backyard for their session and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening. It was warm, the sun was shining and there was a nice breeze. The tall field grass also hadn’t been cut yet so the backdrop was extra beautiful, too! Presley and Nathan did wonderfully in front of the camera and I’m excited to see what we capture together on their big day…in two days! ENJOY!
The first pictures were taken at my neighbor’s rye field. The colors of blue and green on those stems were hard to pass up!
I’m pretty sure Nathan forced some funny faces in this one. 🙂

The best decision I could have made for my wedding was hiring Jessica Fike as a photographer! I was in a wedding prior that she was a photographer for and seeing how organized and easy and strategic she was to work with is what convinced me! She makes you feel so comfortable and helps teach you how to pose and smile and look so natural! She keeps you on schedule throughout your day and captures so much emotion in her photos.
