This was an engagement session I’ll never forget. Beautiful lake house, glowy sunlight, and a waterskiing couple. All at 6:30 in the morning. When I emailed Lauren to ask her if she and Brad would be up for some waterskiing pictures during their session, I was nervous. I’m a lover of unique and different things, so I knew an engagement session that included some waterskiing would be awesome and exciting. But who wants to be athletic in cold water during their engagement session? I was afraid they wouldn’t be up for it. BUT THEY WERE!!! I was so excited when Lauren said YES to my waterskiing idea! She and Brad love to waterski and wakeboard together on Deep Creek Lake, so it was a very appropriate thing to include that in their engagement session. And for fear that we’d have harsh sunlight and a crowded lake, we met at 6:30am. These guys get big gold stars in my book! Who else wants to go waterskiing for their engagement pictures!?! 🙂
This is the front of Lauren’s family’s lake house at Deep Creek! The unique details were amazing!!
Even though it was a gray, overcast morning, the sun did peek through the clouds for a few minutes…and we took advantage of every minute!
Ahhh the glowy sunlight! Perfect for a summer morning at the lake. 🙂
They had only had their cat a very short while…and Lauren requested some pictures. He was camera-ready!
Let the waterskiing adventures begin! I was like a kid in a candy story on the back of this boat. 🙂
They even held hands while skiing together!!
And then a kiss!?! So cool…and so skilled. 🙂
Lastly, for their grand finale, they held a sign while waterskiing! AMAZING!!
Lauren and Brad, you made my summer with this engagement session! Thank you so much for being so willing and daring! This will definitely be an all-time favorite for JFP…and a session to never forget!
