Well, editing for wedding #2 of the 2012 season is complete and I’m excited to share this uniquely beautiful wedding with you! This was an extra special wedding for me because if you remember, I was both a bridesmaid and the photographer for Chris and Kelly’s big day! It was a great success, but I wouldn’t have been able to pull it off without Jamie of Jamie D Photography. I was incredibly impressed with the beautiful images she captured, so pay special attention to the fun and formal, reception and ceremony pictures because some are hers (all ceremony pics came from Jamie!). So Jamie, another HUGE thank you to you! ๐ And of course, a HUGE thank you to Chris and Kelly for trusting me and inviting me to be part of their special day! I had a blast!
And without further ado, Chris and Kelly’s colorful wedding…
I’ve only ever seen this done one other time, so I was glad Kelly decided to go with it! And since I was a bridesmaid, I got to write a little note as well. ๐ Definitely a fun idea!
See! I told you it was a colorful wedding! Kelly made the boutonnieres herself. She also made similar clips for our hair. So crafty and unique!
Can you interpret what the cards are saying? 5. 12. king and queen. Chris and Kelly got married on May 12th and they were king and queen for the day. ๐

Jamie captured these and they are some of my favorites from the day! Such a special moment between daughter and father.
I found this idea on Pinterest just days before the wedding, I shared it on Facebook and Kelly decided she must do it! So glad she did!!! ๐
Fun socks! From what I heard, most of the guys found their socks in the women’s section at Target!
We were a living rainbow for sure! Such pretty colors!!!
Reception time! Kelly put a TON of time into making their reception very unique and personal…
I LOVE a good candy buffet! It’s always my snack on the way home after a wedding. ๐

Jessica is amazing and she made us feel so comfortable! Having her capture our wedding was like having my best friend with me for every moment! Jessica's photos are fun, whimsical, and sophisticated!
We are not a stoic couple and did not want posed (or trying-too-hard) photos! Jessica was able to capture our personalities and the elegance of the day! I can't stop looking at our photos!

The best decision I could have made for my wedding was hiring Jessica Fike as a photographer! I was in a wedding prior that she was a photographer for and seeing how organized and easy and strategic she was to work with is what convinced me! She makes you feel so comfortable and helps teach you how to pose and smile and look so natural! She keeps you on schedule throughout your day and captures so much emotion in her photos. She is worth every penny plus more!
