I had the pleasure of working with two vacationing families at Deep Creek Lake this spring (and I’ll be meeting more this summer!). After visiting with both families, I found out that the majority of them had never been to Deep Creek Lake. I think it’s so cool that families come to our little neck of the woods to vacation and I love sharing the area with them! So while taking their family’s pictures is lots of fun, I also really enjoy playing “tour guide” and giving everyone tips on what to do and where to go. Mountain State Brewery and Honi-Honi anyone!? 🙂

First up, the J Family! For a Mother’s Day present, the five kiddos of this mama decided to gift her with family pictures at Deep Creek. I met them at their rental home and was so pleased with the lovely weather we were given. And honestly, this family has probably had some of the best weather of the year so far!

During multiple family sessions at the lake, I take a variety of portraits. Large group shots, individual family shots, couples, the kids, grandkids and the grandparents, etc. It keeps things moving and it usually pleases the older folks. 🙂

 

 

This couple was just two weeks from their due date! I had to take some maternity portraits for them. 🙂

Next up, the G family! I also met them at their rental home, which by the way, was very pretty! We took a few portraits inside in front of the beautiful fireplace first. Here’s grandma, grandpa and their grandkids!

Sweet Jennifer (from Tennessee!) is the one that hired me. 🙂
