I first met Jessica and Casey earlier this month for a styled shoot at Deep Creek Lake. My friend Beth of The Mustard Couch said they would make great models, and she was right! But not only were these two lovebirds cute and willing to snuggle up in front of the camera, they were also engaged and planning their wedding…and that lead us to another opportunity to work together. 🙂

When Jessica and Casey invited me to be a part of their personal, intimate, almost-an-elopement (they ended up sharing their secret with friends and family because Jessica just couldn’t hold it in 🙂 ) wedding, I was honored. They didn’t want to make a big fuss of things and they didn’t want a huge celebration. They wanted things to be simple and they just wanted it to be the two of them.

They wed on the front steps of the Marion County Historical Society Museum in downtown Fairmont while I stood in the rain with an umbrella over my head (anything to get the shot and the right angle, right!?!). They shared a first look, some gifts and even walked next door to the courthouse after exchanging vows to make their marriage license legit! And maybe the coolest part of the whole thing?? They asked me to sign as witness on that license. WHAT AN HONOR! 🙂

Jessica and Casey, thank you for inviting me to be a part of this little wedding day adventure. I’m so glad that the styled shoot brought us together because I’ve really enjoyed getting to know you guys! I think it’s safe to say that we’re now friends because of all of it, and hopefully we can hang out again in the future!

How beautiful is Jessica’s sleek, sophisticated, sexy dress!?! She and I were texting a couple of months back and she mentioned needing to find a dress. I suggested Lulu’s and Jessica found the dress! So exciting when my suggestions actually work out. 🙂
