Natalie and Derek were married this past July at the beautiful Chanteclaire Farm near Deep Creek Lake and their wedding was just the best! I mean, just look at these two! They’re the cutest! 

Natalie and Derek were ALL SMILES on their wedding day…and boy, that made my job easy and enjoyable! They literally radiated with joy the entire day and were so excited for the day’s festivities. Natalie would often say “Oh my goodness, you’re so adorable!” throughout the day to Derek and she had everyone smiling and laughing right along with her. Derek was extremely friendly and go-with-flow, so I had no fears asking him for an extra picture or two. Really, their wedding day was the cherry on the top to my overall experience with them. It started with conversations with Natalie’s super sweet mom, organized and loving dad, and it all continued with evening phone conversations with Natalie and Derek (where they both joined in on speaker phone) and a super fun engagement session at the lake. We simply became friends through all of this and I couldn’t be more grateful!

Thanks a million, Natalie and Derek, for being AWESOME. I absolutely loved working with you and really can’t thank you enough for your smiles, friendliness and overall ease during the entire process. I so very much appreciate your confidence in me and I’m so glad I was able to capture your big day! I can’t wait to see what your future holds and of course I hope we can take more pictures at the lake in the future. 🙂

Natalie’s gown! She had texted me a picture during her shopping days and even though she didn’t end up purchasing the original dress she shared, this one was very similar and had the same kind of layers that I knew would be wonderful for twirling! (There’s some twirling pictures later in the post. 🙂 )

And now for all the lovely reception details! Chanteclaire always looks beautiful!

The cocktail area at Chanteclaire is so unique! Very eclectic, colorful, vintage furniture and decor…and hanging cheese!

And this new bar area! So cool!

They had a choreographed first dance that they practiced hard for…and they stunned their guests!

I think this is when Natalie’s dad was describing the ugly cry that came upon Natalie and her mom during their tour of Chanteclaire. They were so happy with the thoughts of the wedding day happening at the farm that they ugly cried, ha! 🙂

After toasts and some dinner, I escaped into the sunset with Natalie and Derek…

And this will definitely be an all-time JFP favorite!

Party time! Their guests very much enjoyed the musical sounds of Sounds Fun DJs! And I appreciated their effort in keeping things moving! 

And a sparkler send-off outside the Silo Bar to end the night. What a celebration! 🙂
