I really enjoy doing these “end of year” blog posts. Last week I decided to try, for the first time, a “behind the scenes” post from the 2015 wedding season. My wonderful second shooters took so many pictures of me in action and it was fun to see what I actually look like while working. 🙂 

But now it’s time for me to go through all my “behind the camera” moments from 2015 and choose the ones that stand out to me most…the ones that are the BEST! It’s an awesome way to cap off the year and to remember all the goodness that happened. 

First up, engagements! Oh man, my couples and I had fun this year! So many laughs, so many connections made, so many beautiful backdrops…so much goodness! I’ve either photographed or will be photographing almost all of their weddings and it’s such an honor to be a part of this time in their lives. I’m so grateful to call all these guys and gals clients, and I can’t wait to spend more time with them in the future! 

And just a few things I noticed throughout this collection:

1. COLOR! So many colors! And I love color. 🙂
2. Awesome, moody and artistic black and whites. I’m a sucker for good black and white pictures.
3. Swallow Falls! It was a popular session location this year! Such a beautiful state park in Garrett County, MD.
4. Smiles! So many happy, smiling, pretty faces. 🙂
