Amanda and Caleb’s wedding was definitely one of the prettiest I’ve seen. The details were impeccable, the weather was perfect, the sunset was gorgeous and Amanda was a flawless bride. I was excited to finally photograph a wedding at the beautiful Benton Grove Bed & Banquets in Morgantown, which is a wonderful venue and seemed to be the perfect setting for this gorgeous affair.

Amanda was in Jill and Charlie’s wedding last August and we had been emailing back and forth (I like a bride that’s a good emailer!) for over six months. It was fun to reunite after almost a year, and it was enjoyable to see all the planning and details that we had talked about in conversation finally come to life. One of my favorite parts of the whole day: the rented antique china used at the reception dinner tables. Amanda and Caleb drove all the way to Harrisburg, PA to rent the china and while that may seem a little extreme to some people, I think the couple (and myself) would argue that it was well worth it…definitely a show-stopper!

I don’t think their first dance could have happened at a better time. There may not have been anymore natural light left, but the setting sun left a beautiful horizon in the background…and it certainly made a beautiful backdrop!
