I met Alyssa and DJ last year for their engagement session and I loved them right away. They were friendly, smiley, excited to have me, and AWESOME in front of the camera. (Check out their engagement session to see for yourself!). After meeting with them last October, it felt like it was going to take forever for their July wedding day to come. Then summer came and July was here (and is almost gone!) in a flash. So Alyssa and DJ’s beyond-beautiful wedding finally happened earlier this month. It was definitely one of the prettiest weddings I’ve ever photographed with one of the most awesome couples I’ve ever photographed. Maybe that’s why there’s over 100 images included in this blog post!?!

Before the ceremony, the priest invited me into the sacristy and showed me a “cool angle” for pictures. I was so excited that he pretty much gave me free reign and allowed me to get so close (without being the center of attention, of course).
Alyssa was just so beautiful and smiley all day! 🙂

Patio-like tables and chairs (like the ones on the left) were set up all across the farm grounds for cocktail hour. They fit the setting perfectly!

Jessica is amazing and she made us feel so comfortable! Having her capture our wedding was like having my best friend with me for every moment! Jessica's photos are fun, whimsical, and sophisticated!
We are not a stoic couple and did not want posed (or trying-too-hard) photos! Jessica was able to capture our personalities and the elegance of the day! I can't stop looking at our photos!

The best decision I could have made for my wedding was hiring Jessica Fike as a photographer! I was in a wedding prior that she was a photographer for and seeing how organized and easy and strategic she was to work with is what convinced me! She makes you feel so comfortable and helps teach you how to pose and smile and look so natural! She keeps you on schedule throughout your day and captures so much emotion in her photos. She is worth every penny plus more!
