Alicia and Chad booked with me in February of 2012, which means all three of us (and plenty of others!) waited over a year and a half for their big day! I remember meeting with them and thinking the wedding was so far away and feeling like it would never come. But just as time always seems to do, this year flew by and the beauty and busy-ness of October came!

If I had to guess, I’d say Alicia and Chad were somewhat glad they had so much time to plan. For one, October 12th was a big date for the 2013 season, so they were probably able to lock in all their desired vendors with very little trouble. They also dressed this wedding up and down and around with so many wonderful fall goodies! How in the world did they come up with all of this!?! The time they had between setting a date and the actual wedding day itself was probably a lifesaver for them when putting together all these beautiful details. Alicia and Chad’s wedding day was definitely an enjoyable one and an event that I was excited to be a part of. It’s not everyday you get to work with clients who are super sweet, super in love and super detail-oriented with their event. Alicia and Chad’s wedding is definitely a JFP favorite!

I met Alicia and her girls early on the wedding day and was able to capture just about everything during their stay at the salon. The hair, the make-up, all the bridal details…and of course a little bride-bridesmaids toast!

I love when I pull up to meet the guys and they’re all ready! Well, Chad and his guys were still waiting on their boutonnieres, but other than that, they were ready to start working it for the camera. 🙂

Alicia and Chad’s wedding was held at the West Overton Museums in Scottdale, PA. The ceremony took place in the old distillery room…

Chad was pretty emotional during the ceremony. He couldn’t hold his tears back as he and Alicia made things official. It was really quite sweet to see…

These two were SUPER excited to be married!

Instead of rice, flower petals or balloons, guests greeted the newlyweds with real leaves! Such a neat idea!
