It’s always fun to photograph a growing family more than once…especially when babies are involved. I get to see them when they’re still in mama’s belly, when they’re just days old and then again when they’re sitting up, laughing, crawling and sometimes even walking. Not only do they look and act completely different, they also photograph completely different…and photographing them around the six-month mark is one of my favorites. At six months, babies can sit up on their own, they aren’t super mobile (and can’t run away from the camera) and are easily entertained by mom and dad’s waving hands and crazy faces. It’s truly an easy  and delightful session in my book. 🙂

So a special thanks to the Burd family for having me for a third time for Livia’s six-month portraits. I saw her when she was in her mama’s belly, when she was just days old and now finally when she’s starting to grow into a little person. It’s been an honor capturing these important moments in your life and I’m excited to continue to watch your family grow!
