Album designing is a special treat for me. It’s a break from editing thousands of pictures and it allows me to see a wedding story really come together. I don’t outsource my album designs, I do them all on my own using Photojunction and Photoshop. Some couples want to choose all the images that are included, but most recently my couples have been allowing me to choose at least a few of my favorite images from their collections to include in the design. Talk about having your cake and eating it, too! I love when my couples trust me. 🙂
Here are some favorite spreads from two recent album designs. First up, Jamie and Kevin’s Americana country wedding from last September. Jamie and Kevin chose most of the pictures, but allowed me to include some of my favorites, too.

Happy album designing to all my fellow photogs out there! It’s not an easy task, but hopefully you find it as enjoyable and rewarding as I do! And for my couples who haven’t gotten a wedding album…you should totally do it! I’ll enjoy designing it and you’ll enjoy having it in your home for years to come. 🙂

Well hey now! I thought for sure it had been more than seven months since I blogged last! Wish I could do it more…and plan to as soon as the new JFP website comes out.

Jessica is amazing and she made us feel so comfortable! Having her capture our wedding was like having my best friend with me for every moment! Jessica's photos are fun, whimsical, and sophisticated!
We are not a stoic couple and did not want posed (or trying-too-hard) photos! Jessica was able to capture our personalities and the elegance of the day! I can't stop looking at our photos!

The best decision I could have made for my wedding was hiring Jessica Fike as a photographer! I was in a wedding prior that she was a photographer for and seeing how organized and easy and strategic she was to work with is what convinced me! She makes you feel so comfortable and helps teach you how to pose and smile and look so natural! She keeps you on schedule throughout your day and captures so much emotion in her photos. She is worth every penny plus more!
