Emily and Collin’s lakefront wedding at Deep Creek is happening TOMORROW! They visited Garrett County in early summer for their engagement session and I’ve been trying to patiently wait for their big day ever since. I’ve heard so many wonderful things about the plans for their wedding and hanging out with the two of them was relaxed and easy. So many different things that I know will make their wedding day a great one!
But first, their engagement session. 🙂Â
We met at the Deep Creek Lavender Farm for the first part of the session…and the timing was perfect! Warmth, sunshine and the lavender was in full bloom! SO MUCH PURPLE!Â
Emily’s dress coordinated with the surrounding colors so well!

We live less than five minutes from the farm and I knew we’d have some nice light in the backyard, so we relocated for the second part of their session…
Ally and I especially loved Emily’s teal dress! Fun fact: Ally really enjoys when clients come to the house for pictures because she is always anxious to see what the girls wear. 🙂

Well hey now! I thought for sure it had been more than seven months since I blogged last! Wish I could do it more…and plan to as soon as the new JFP website comes out.

Jessica is amazing and she made us feel so comfortable! Having her capture our wedding was like having my best friend with me for every moment! Jessica's photos are fun, whimsical, and sophisticated!
We are not a stoic couple and did not want posed (or trying-too-hard) photos! Jessica was able to capture our personalities and the elegance of the day! I can't stop looking at our photos!

The best decision I could have made for my wedding was hiring Jessica Fike as a photographer! I was in a wedding prior that she was a photographer for and seeing how organized and easy and strategic she was to work with is what convinced me! She makes you feel so comfortable and helps teach you how to pose and smile and look so natural! She keeps you on schedule throughout your day and captures so much emotion in her photos. She is worth every penny plus more!
