Molly and RJ were married on December 27th last year, and they were my only December wedding. That’s pretty normal. Not too many couples are interested in getting married in December…the cold, the holidays, the possibility of iffy weather conditions. I totally get it. But boy, the few December weddings I have been able to be a part of have been magical!

Everything took place at the Regatta restaurant at the Waterfront Place Hotel in downtown Morgantown. Yes, it was cold, and yes people were just recovering from Christmas, but it was still a lovely affair. Just Molly, RJ, they’re little girl and less than 20 of their closest family members. I loved the Christmas decorations, the intimacy of it all and Molly’s RED DRESS! Yes! A bride in a red dress! I loved it! I remember leaving their wedding feeling inspired and hopeful that I’d get to be a part of similar smaller weddings in the future. I really enjoyed myself and the lack of “hustle and bustle” that often times comes with larger weddings. High five to Molly and RJ for doing something a little different! 🙂
