Oh it rained. And then it rained some more…and a little more. Danielle and Kevin’s wedding day was wet….umbrellas and rain drops everywhere. But I’m pretty sure that was all trumped by the beauty of the wedding itself. Danielle’s stunning look and outgoing personality, the beautiful decorations and colorful flowers, and the fabulous venue…it all came together for a standout wedding. And to top it all off, the weather didn’t bother the bride and groom one bit. Talk about making the best of the situation at-hand! Danielle wasn’t afraid to get a little wet and was willing to do whatever it took to get beautiful pictures…and I was so grateful.

It may have been an ugly day outside on September 21st, but we certainly didn’t let that get in the way of putting together a beautiful collection of images. This is a long post, folks. Enjoy!

After some getting ready pictures in the barn building, we went to farmhouse for some more pre-ceremony moments…

The ceremony was held inside because of the rain. This spot sits beneath the main part of the barn and it sure did shine for the ceremony! My mom and I couldn’t get over how beautiful it was…

And you know me…I love a good grandma picture!

Luckily, it was raining very little when it was time for the fun and formals, so we were able to be outside for some pictures. And to make things a little easier, and dryer, we used this overhang to keep the bridal party dry and I had my mom with an umbrella to keep me dry!

Right before this picture, Danielle decided to forgo the umbrella! She just didn’t care anymore and didn’t want the rain (and umbrella) to stand in the way of some good pictures! All star bride, right here. 🙂

The speeches were wonderful! Again, more emotion and love to capture…

The party got started right away! Danielle and Kevin had a good crowd and an even better DJ…Sean Nice from Uniontown is one of the best!

 

Danielle and Kevin…thanks for a lot of things! For not letting the rain dampen your day or your spirits, for putting a high priority on your pictures, for putting together such beautiful details, for hosting a wonderful celebration and for having me there to capture it all! It was so fun seeing you guys again and working with you on your big day! I hope we’ll get together again in the future sometime. 🙂 CONGRATS!
