Happy fall, y’all! Wow, what a gorgeous time of year. Riding around in Garrett County the past few days has put me into a happy fall spirit. The calm that surrounds, the colorful leaves, the crispness in the air…it all just makes me happy! And thankful that we live in such a beautiful area. If you’re looking for some fall-ness and it hasn’t hit your town yet, I highly recommend coming to our neck of the woods. Garrett County is quite stunning right now and it’s bound to put you in a good mood, too. 🙂
This time last year, I was finishing up two September weddings. Two weddings that will probably be all-time JFP faves. One was rustic elegance and the other was playful love. But both were filled with the warm colors of fall, character and beauty. And both included an awesome couple. These two pairs of people were incredible to work with. They acted as friends, not clients. They completely trusted me and didn’t let anything stand in the way of a good photo op. And they showed genuine love for each other…and it was all just beautiful! I loved looking back at each of these weddings and remembering the good times. I think both produced some of my best work as a photog. 🙂

The best decision I could have made for my wedding was hiring Jessica Fike as a photographer! I was in a wedding prior that she was a photographer for and seeing how organized and easy and strategic she was to work with is what convinced me! She makes you feel so comfortable and helps teach you how to pose and smile and look so natural! She keeps you on schedule throughout your day and captures so much emotion in her photos.
