Raegan and Kevin should win an all-star award for this engagement session. They met me at 7am on a Sunday morning so I could make sure Jack was taken care of. I had been in Virginia for a wedding and was staying with the in-laws. They watched Jack during the session, but needed to leave by 8:45 for church. So I nervously asked Raegan if they’d be willing to meet super early and she said YES! I kept apologizing to them at the session and thanking them for such a sacrifice, but they kept reassuring me that it was OK. Like I said, all-star award. 🙂 (Grandma Pam got up extra early just so she’d be completely ready and able to watch Jack fully while I was gone, so a special thanks to the in-laws, too!).
I met Raegan and Kevin in the beautiful JMU Arboretum in Harrisonburg, VA. It was a little chilly, (and early!), but we had the place to ourselves. The morning light was peeking in behind the trees and we were blessed with some beautiful light…and some beautiful flowers, too! The Arboretum was in bloom and did wonderfully as a backdrop.
Thanks a million for meeting me so early, Raegan and Kevin! You guys were such troopers!!

Well hey now! I thought for sure it had been more than seven months since I blogged last! Wish I could do it more…and plan to as soon as the new JFP website comes out.

Jessica is amazing and she made us feel so comfortable! Having her capture our wedding was like having my best friend with me for every moment! Jessica's photos are fun, whimsical, and sophisticated!
We are not a stoic couple and did not want posed (or trying-too-hard) photos! Jessica was able to capture our personalities and the elegance of the day! I can't stop looking at our photos!

The best decision I could have made for my wedding was hiring Jessica Fike as a photographer! I was in a wedding prior that she was a photographer for and seeing how organized and easy and strategic she was to work with is what convinced me! She makes you feel so comfortable and helps teach you how to pose and smile and look so natural! She keeps you on schedule throughout your day and captures so much emotion in her photos. She is worth every penny plus more!

My wife and I have been very blessed in our lives. We have also lived thruogh very tight times ( I. E., blood donations.) We have always felt the love if others. Many times, we picked up the bill for another at a resturant. Other times we paid for another’s groceries. Another time we put together a baby shower for a lady we never met who left an abusive home. Instead of money, we gave a man in the rain a sleeping bag, a coat, and accessories along with a gift card for a meal at Denny’s. When my wife ad I ran into financial issues, we were blessed by people who remained anonymous with a $500 gift card twice. We always asked why. We had a very hard time accepting. Why us?
