A long time ago, I had the idea to do pictures in a greenhouse. A couple or a family or a mama and her daughter, inside a well-lit greenhouse, surrounded by lush plants and vibrant flowers…picking out a few of their favorites and enjoying the warmth of the season. It was a unique spin on the typical outdoor, in-nature kind of location that such sessions usually take place in. 

In 2011, it happened! Jess and Jim agreed to the idea and we took some of their engagement pictures at a nursery with a greenhouse in Hagerstown, MD…

Last year, the idea came about again after I became familiar with Halian & Associates Landscapes and Mosser Meadow here at Deep Creek Lake. Their staff is wonderful, their owner is passionate and their spring floral selection is just beautiful! I vowed to make more of these greenhouse sessions happen. Introducing…

PHOTOS AT THE MEADOW! A mini session event by JFP and Mosser Meadow on May 6th! A Sunday afternoon dedicated to providing a unique photography experience for couples and families. Baked goods and homemade lemonade will be available, and Mosser Meadow will be open for spring shopping. They aren’t normally open on Sundays, so this is an extra special treat! But it doesn’t stop there. Mosser Meadow is including a hanging basket with each session! (I told you they were wonderful. 🙂 ) 

Mini session details: 

20 minute session – perfect for couples and families of 6 or less (10 sessions available from 2 to 7pm)
At least 30 edited images delivered in an online gallery with the ability to download high-res, print-ready images
Reprint rights release so you can print where and when you want

$150 plus sales tax

If you’re interested in booking a session, a $100 non-refundable reservation fee is required. Just email me with your first and second choice time slot (30-minute increments, first session at 2pm and last session at 6:30pm) and we’ll get you on the schedule: jessica@jessicafikephotography.com. Remember, there are only 10 sessions available and they’ll be scheduled on a first come, first serve basis.
