get to know ME more!
Hi Thank you so much for visiting the blog! Whether you're looking for more pretty pictures, inspiration for your wedding day, or some useful Deep Creek info, I hope you'll find a comfy seat, maybe a cup of coffee, and read on!
Since day one of JFP, I’ve wanted to be different and I’ve wanted to standout. Whether it’s my branding, my photography style or the way I present my personal life through my blog, I wanted people to easily find and remember me. Even things as simple as my flash drives for client images (they’re hot pink!) and my rubber stamp logo (inked in hot pink!) include an element of design and presentation that will help them, and my business, (hopefully) standout from the rest.
I don’t remember how, but somewhere in my search for unique, eye-catching marketing pieces, I found MOO. This printing company has nothing to do with cows (haha 🙂 ), but it has everything to do with great design, even better printing and premium paper products. From sticky business cards to photo stickers, MiniCards to NFC (business cards embedded with a microchip), MOO definitely seems to have an edge when it comes to their products. It’s not everywhere that you can upload 50 different high-quality images and have each appear on the back of a business card. And that’s what initially sold me on MOO.
So the JFP business cards are not only colorful because of my pink, yellow and blue branding, they’re also colorful because each has an image printed on the back. A few different times, I’ve shared 50 images from past weddings and portrait sessions with MOO and they’ve become a small, unique marketing piece for my mailings and networking encounters. Each time I share my business cards with people, they’re immediately presented with my portfolio, or a “pocket portfolio” as MOO likes to call it. Instead of just learning my contact info, they also learn a little bit about my photography style and whether or not it catches their eye. It’s really quite a brilliant thing…and one of my favorite marketing pieces. 🙂
I received some flowers this weekend so I decided to use them as a display item for my cards…
Of course I had to put my little Ally on the back of a few cards, too!
Don’t ya just love all the colors!?! And the happy faces, too?? 🙂
One size of the business card is a picture and the other is “pretty in pink” with all my biz info.
Now for some close-ups…
Quality product! Check out that paper thickness!
I’ve always been super happy with my MOO business cards and everyone always seems to be impressed and pleasantly surprised when they see images on the back of my cards. This unique, eye-catching marketing piece is one way I hope JFP stands out from the rest. 🙂
Scenes and thoughts from deep creek
Well hey now! I thought for sure it had been more than seven months since I blogged last! Wish I could do it more…and plan to as soon as the new JFP website comes out.
I’m not sure I’m starting anything consistent here, just sharing some random thoughts and scenes from Deep Creek on this random Wednesday…

Jessica is amazing and she made us feel so comfortable! Having her capture our wedding was like having my best friend with me for every moment! Jessica's photos are fun, whimsical, and sophisticated!
We are not a stoic couple and did not want posed (or trying-too-hard) photos! Jessica was able to capture our personalities and the elegance of the day! I can't stop looking at our photos!

The best decision I could have made for my wedding was hiring Jessica Fike as a photographer! I was in a wedding prior that she was a photographer for and seeing how organized and easy and strategic she was to work with is what convinced me! She makes you feel so comfortable and helps teach you how to pose and smile and look so natural! She keeps you on schedule throughout your day and captures so much emotion in her photos. She is worth every penny plus more!
