Allison, Bob and I go way back. I took their engagement pictures in 2012, their wedding pictures in 2013, and this year I had the honor of taking their maternity and newborn portraits. Needless to say, we’re pretty tight. 🙂

It’s such a compliment when couples invite me back into their lives to take pictures over and over. It’s always so nice to reconnect with them and share life stories, especially when they’re having babies. Allison and Bob welcomed little Luka into their family in September. He’s got dark hair like his daddy, a seemingly pleasant spirit like his mom, and a dog sister who’s ready to watch over him.

Thanks a million for having me, K family. Let’s do it again next year! 🙂

Luka slept almost the whole session! Even though he needed a little soothing while he was awake, he was still a pleasant baby to work with.
 

Ally’s newborn photographer captured her eyelashes and ever since then I’ve made it a point to do the same during all my newborn sessions. It really shows the beautiful details of the new babes, and gives me an opportunity to use my macro lens. 🙂
