get to know ME more!
Hi Thank you so much for visiting the blog! Whether you're looking for more pretty pictures, inspiration for your wedding day, or some useful Deep Creek info, I hope you'll find a comfy seat, maybe a cup of coffee, and read on!
Just in case anyone was wondering, yes, JFP’s wheels are still turning! Things are a little slower than normal over here because of the move and the transition from a PC to a Mac, but hopefully my pace will pick up soon. 🙂 Even though it’s a little later than I had hoped, I’m excited to share Lindsay and Josh’s October wedding!
Lindsay and Josh had big plans for their big day. They planned to get married outside at Sand Hill Berries Farm in Mt. Pleasant, PA. The space had been decorated beautifully and they were excited about their outdoor ceremony. But when October 11th came, it rained…and it rained. They decided to go with plan b and move the ceremony indoors. Despite the last-minute change in locations, everything turned out wonderfully! The ceremony was beautiful and everyone stayed dry. The rain let up for outdoor pictures and we got some amazing captures among the colorful leaves. And the reception space was impeccable! All in all, a really wonderful day.
ENJOY this outdoor-in, naturally-colored, beautifully-decorated, and filled-with-love wedding. 🙂
The bridesmaids and their sock buns! Too cute!!
Lindsay, you looked stunning!
We outran the rain drops for this one!
Yay for a grandma picture!
My mom captured the one on the left and I just love it!
Sand Hill Berries welcomed us with lots of color! We were so thankful!!! 🙂
There’s one in every family. 🙂
Time for bride-groom portraits! These two completely surprised me!
A favorite! 🙂
Time for Bell’s Barn…beautifully decorated by Linsday’s sister Jenny and their friend Lauren!
Thanks for the aerial shots, mom! 🙂
After the bridal dance was over, everyone surrounded Lindsay to prevent Josh from “taking her away”…and my mom captured this! Way cool!
And then Lindsay and Josh were nowhere to be found! Sometimes that happens at a good southwestern PA bridal dance. 😉
Lindsay and Josh, what a day! First the rain, then the change of locations…but everything turned out so great! We got some awesome pictures (without rain) and had some beautiful fall colors to work with! Thanks a million for having my mom and I on your special day and for trusting us to capture such a love-filled affair. You guys are so cute…CONGRATS!
Scenes and thoughts from deep creek
Well hey now! I thought for sure it had been more than seven months since I blogged last! Wish I could do it more…and plan to as soon as the new JFP website comes out.
I’m not sure I’m starting anything consistent here, just sharing some random thoughts and scenes from Deep Creek on this random Wednesday…

Jessica is amazing and she made us feel so comfortable! Having her capture our wedding was like having my best friend with me for every moment! Jessica's photos are fun, whimsical, and sophisticated!
We are not a stoic couple and did not want posed (or trying-too-hard) photos! Jessica was able to capture our personalities and the elegance of the day! I can't stop looking at our photos!

The best decision I could have made for my wedding was hiring Jessica Fike as a photographer! I was in a wedding prior that she was a photographer for and seeing how organized and easy and strategic she was to work with is what convinced me! She makes you feel so comfortable and helps teach you how to pose and smile and look so natural! She keeps you on schedule throughout your day and captures so much emotion in her photos. She is worth every penny plus more!

Jess, the pictures are outstanding. You captured all the fall colors. You would never know it had rained. Lovely wedding.

Is Bell’s Barn located at Sandy Hill Berries Farm? It’s beautiful!
Hi Brandy! No, Bell’s is not located at Sand Hill Berries. Lindsay and Josh were going to have their ceremony at Sand Hill Berries, but because it rained, they opted for a church instead. BUT, they still had their cocktail hour at Sand Hill Berries/Greendance Winery. Bell’s is about 10-15 minutes down the road.
Nice post lovely blog people will attract to see this.

Beautiful pictures and a beautiful celebration. Do you know where they found the latterns for the centerpieces? We are having a reception at Bells and would love to buy them from Lindsay or find them retail! Thanks
