Kristin and Zach came to visit me in the JFP office this past summer during one of their trips to Deep Creek Lake. I love when a couple wants to meet with me in person before making their photography decision. It really gives us a chance to get to know each other and talk about more than just the wedding. Even though the wedding is obviously important, it’s also important to me that we make a good fit, both in personalities and photography style. Meeting in person helps accomplish that, and after meeting these two, I knew we’d make a good team and a good fit for their wedding day. 🙂

Kristin and Zach then returned for an engagement session in September. It was late September and fall had officially arrived, but we were still unsure of the fall colors we’d actually be able to capture. Thankfully, the leaves in the woods in our backyard had started to change and a farmer down the road graciously allowed us to part of his property that already had some beautifully blooming fall colors/

Thanks for two wonderful meetings, Kristin and Zach! I really enjoyed hanging out with you guys both times and I’m excited for the wedding in June! 🙂

I love Kristin’s slightly wind-blown hair and her purple dress, which was an awesome compliment to the orange leaves!
