I USUALLY START WITH THE WEATHER...

Apparently this has been one of the rainiest Augusts!? And now there's a slight dip in the temperatures...highs in the upper 60s for some days, lows in the 50s.

I talked to a visiting family recently...they bought hoodies at Arrowhead because they weren't ready for the chillier temperatures in early morning and evening.

Even in summer, bring a hoodie my friends!

FOG

I've learned to love the fog during the past few years as a photographer + Deep Creek/Garrett County resident. So much so that I chase it! The creepy green photo included here is from a recent chase in May. I challenged myself to photograph everything directly from my car. Also challenged myself to use a slow shutter. One or two of the photos from that chase are going to be printed on canvas and Collen DuBose is going to paint on them for the Deep Creek Art & Wine Festival. We have pieces for sale.
