These two are some of the cutest! I first met Dan way back in the day when he and my brother played hockey together. Our parents go even farther back when they were friends before any of us kids were even thought of. Reuniting with Dan and meeting his gal Rachel was such a special treat! I loved visiting them in my hometown of Connellsville last fall for their engagement session and I’m pumped to do it all over again for their wedding this weekend! 

Rachel and I have actually shared quite a few phone conversations and have texted back and forth on many occasions. She became a friend almost immediately and I’m so very thankful for her kindness and willingness to really make a connection. It’ll certainly feel like I’m hanging out with friends when we get together for their big day at The Summit Inn. And that’s just the best! 

Their engagement session started in their backyard with their dogs. We then migrated to Dan’s relatives’ home along the Youghiogheny River for some pictures with the canoe! It was a warm evening with some sunshine, and I just love what we captured! 

Thanks so much for being so wonderful to work with, Rachel and Dan! Saturday is going to be awesome!
