get to know ME more!
Hi Thank you so much for visiting the blog! Whether you're looking for more pretty pictures, inspiration for your wedding day, or some useful Deep Creek info, I hope you'll find a comfy seat, maybe a cup of coffee, and read on!
Oh this session is just fabulous! I loved everything about my time with Beth and Josh and am soooo loving the end result! I don’t do a ton of maternity sessions, but after this one, I’m hoping to do so many more!
Beth and Josh were so warm, welcoming and genuinely excited during their session. Even Josh, with a handful of major football games going on, was ready and willing to do whatever Beth and I asked…and let me tell you, when the guy is cooperative and happy, I feel so at ease as the photographer! So thank you Beth and Josh, for being so great personally and photogenically. 🙂 Seriously, one of my favorite sessions of all time!
Beth, you are such a beautiful mama-to-be! Your super cute preggo-ness is inspiring and encouraging. 🙂
Love these portraits!!!
Definitely a session favorite for me! Note to self and future mamas-to-be: off-the-shoulder shirts are wonderful for maternity sessions!
Time for Livia’s nursery! Don’t you just love that name, by the way!?! I kinda wanna steal it for our list of future baby names. 😉
I think this nursery might be Pinterest-worthy…
BETH! That look!!! I love it!!!
Another favorite! I just love maternity portraits in the nursery. When Livia comes, we can do this exact pose…just with a baby in Beth’s arms. 🙂
It was a beautiful fall day, so we hopped outside for a change of scenery!
Pretty fabulous, right!?! Kinda makes you want to do a maternity session, right!?! 😉 Beth and Josh, thanks so much for having me and for inviting me to be a part of this super exciting, super special time in your lives! You did so wonderful during the session and I cannot wait to meet baby Livia! Put me on your top 10 list of people to call once she arrives. 🙂
Scenes and thoughts from deep creek
Well hey now! I thought for sure it had been more than seven months since I blogged last! Wish I could do it more…and plan to as soon as the new JFP website comes out.
I’m not sure I’m starting anything consistent here, just sharing some random thoughts and scenes from Deep Creek on this random Wednesday…

Jessica is amazing and she made us feel so comfortable! Having her capture our wedding was like having my best friend with me for every moment! Jessica's photos are fun, whimsical, and sophisticated!
We are not a stoic couple and did not want posed (or trying-too-hard) photos! Jessica was able to capture our personalities and the elegance of the day! I can't stop looking at our photos!

The best decision I could have made for my wedding was hiring Jessica Fike as a photographer! I was in a wedding prior that she was a photographer for and seeing how organized and easy and strategic she was to work with is what convinced me! She makes you feel so comfortable and helps teach you how to pose and smile and look so natural! She keeps you on schedule throughout your day and captures so much emotion in her photos. She is worth every penny plus more!
