Wedding season is about to start for JFP! May 1st marks the beginning of my 2015 wedding season and I’m getting excited! I’ve had a break from weddings for over three months now, so I’m starting to get the itch and am feeling creatively rejuvenated! I didn’t have any April weddings this year and I’m not even sure I had an inquiries for this month, but I did have a couple stellar weddings in April last year and it’s time to say HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to those couples. 🙂
Mary Ann and Matt are two friends from Bridgewater College. They were married at the beautiful Homestead in Virginia on a chilly spring day, but it was pretty perfect in every other way. Mary Ann and her bridesmaids were stunning, we had TONS of time for pictures, Matt and his groomsmen were super fun, the venue was gorgeous, their families were very sweet and Mary Ann and Matt were so cute together and so wonderful to work with! Happy Anniversary Mary Ann and Matt!!!

Lorena and Tim had a vintage circus theme wedding and the details were beautiful! I especially loved the colors, the table decor and the tons of fun that their guests had at the photo booth manned by my mom. Oh and their first look was pretty awesome! Emotions and true love captured for sure. 🙂 Happy Anniversary Lorena and Tim!

Well hey now! I thought for sure it had been more than seven months since I blogged last! Wish I could do it more…and plan to as soon as the new JFP website comes out.
I’m not sure I’m starting anything consistent here, just sharing some random thoughts and scenes from Deep Creek on this random Wednesday…

Jessica is amazing and she made us feel so comfortable! Having her capture our wedding was like having my best friend with me for every moment! Jessica's photos are fun, whimsical, and sophisticated!
We are not a stoic couple and did not want posed (or trying-too-hard) photos! Jessica was able to capture our personalities and the elegance of the day! I can't stop looking at our photos!

The best decision I could have made for my wedding was hiring Jessica Fike as a photographer! I was in a wedding prior that she was a photographer for and seeing how organized and easy and strategic she was to work with is what convinced me! She makes you feel so comfortable and helps teach you how to pose and smile and look so natural! She keeps you on schedule throughout your day and captures so much emotion in her photos. She is worth every penny plus more!
