get to know ME more!
Hi Thank you so much for visiting the blog! Whether you're looking for more pretty pictures, inspiration for your wedding day, or some useful Deep Creek info, I hope you'll find a comfy seat, maybe a cup of coffee, and read on!
Angie and Scott’s wedding is going to be awesome for two reasons. 1) They’re getting married at the Succop Conservancy near Pittsburgh and it looks like a stellar venue! and 2) I’ve hung out with them twice and discovered they’re super fun! Did you see their dance moves at Mary and Tyler’s wedding reception!? Put those two things together and myself, a fun, outgoing photog, and we’re bound to have a good time and produce some awesome results! 🙂
The second time I hung out with Angie and Scott was during their engagement session this past fall. We met in the Cheat Lake area of Morgantown and were surrounded by what seemed to be the peak season for the fall leaves. It was a little cold and a little rainy, but we remained positive and had a good time. I think Scott even admitted he enjoyed himself! Which, if a guy can say that, I consider the session a success in my book!
Enjoy my favorites from their session!
Their blue outfits really popped against the orange! Great color choice, you guys. 🙂
We got into the kisses and snuggles pretty early. I had to get Scott loosened up somehow!
These two images were taken one right after the other, and I love the duo they make! Angie laughing and being her fun self, and Scott wanting to shake his head at her silly-ness. This is exactly how Brian and I would look! 🙂
On to the lake!
I love the mixes of plaid and the fall colors!
I love these next two! Definitely session favorites for me. 🙂
Angie embraced the season and the weather with boots, a scarf and an umbrella!
Angie also requested a picture of her ring. 🙂
One last stop with the beautiful leaves!
Throwing leaves in the air is totally appropriate for pictures in the fall. 🙂
Angie and Scott…your wedding is only three months away! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!?! When I first met you guys it was almost a year away! Time flies when you’re having fun…and I’m pretty positive you guys have been having lots of fun this past! See you in July! 🙂
Scenes and thoughts from deep creek
Well hey now! I thought for sure it had been more than seven months since I blogged last! Wish I could do it more…and plan to as soon as the new JFP website comes out.
I’m not sure I’m starting anything consistent here, just sharing some random thoughts and scenes from Deep Creek on this random Wednesday…

Jessica is amazing and she made us feel so comfortable! Having her capture our wedding was like having my best friend with me for every moment! Jessica's photos are fun, whimsical, and sophisticated!
We are not a stoic couple and did not want posed (or trying-too-hard) photos! Jessica was able to capture our personalities and the elegance of the day! I can't stop looking at our photos!

The best decision I could have made for my wedding was hiring Jessica Fike as a photographer! I was in a wedding prior that she was a photographer for and seeing how organized and easy and strategic she was to work with is what convinced me! She makes you feel so comfortable and helps teach you how to pose and smile and look so natural! She keeps you on schedule throughout your day and captures so much emotion in her photos. She is worth every penny plus more!
