Ali contacted me in April to set up her fall engagement session, which was almost six months in advance! She’s quite the planner, right?? I’m a planner myself so I immediately liked Ali and was excited to finally meet her a couple weeks ago.
I met up with she and fiance DJ at the beautiful Valley Falls State Park in Fairmont, WV. I had been there in April, but this was my first fall visit…and boy was I in love with all the beautiful seasonal surroundings. Trees filled with color, leaves covering the ground, mountains of lush greens…the park looked beautiful! And so did Ali and DJ. Their outfits were perfect, they were very easy-going and in my opinion, I think they look pretty cute together. Oh! And I LOVE Ali’s super curly hair! Definitely gives her a little spunk, don’t ya think!?! 😉

There were tons of people at the park that evening, but it didn’t seem to bother Ali and DJ. I’m so glad we were able to find some photo spots without the public creeping in the background!

Ali’s got such a great look. One minute she’s beaming from ear to ear and the next she’s luring you in with her soft smile. I’m definitely a fan! 🙂

I MUST remember this spot for next year! This are was tucked away in the forest along the road leading to the park. I originally stopped for the colorful trees, but ended up loving this more…
Ali and DJ’s last request was to add their red jackets…the cuteness continues, y’all! It was pretty warm that evening, but you obviously can’t tell in these pictures. I think they pull off the red jackets quite well! 🙂
I’m so excited for your wedding next August, Ali and DJ! You’ll be bringing me to a new part of WV and I cannot wait to see what you’ll put together for your big day. You were so easy to work with and I very much enjoyed our time together. You guys are super cute and you do pretty darn well in front of the camera! 😉 CONGRATS and see you next year! Or maybe we’ll run into each in Morgantown!

Jessica is amazing and she made us feel so comfortable! Having her capture our wedding was like having my best friend with me for every moment! Jessica's photos are fun, whimsical, and sophisticated!
We are not a stoic couple and did not want posed (or trying-too-hard) photos! Jessica was able to capture our personalities and the elegance of the day! I can't stop looking at our photos!

The best decision I could have made for my wedding was hiring Jessica Fike as a photographer! I was in a wedding prior that she was a photographer for and seeing how organized and easy and strategic she was to work with is what convinced me! She makes you feel so comfortable and helps teach you how to pose and smile and look so natural! She keeps you on schedule throughout your day and captures so much emotion in her photos. She is worth every penny plus more!
