get to know ME more!
Hi Thank you so much for visiting the blog! Whether you're looking for more pretty pictures, inspiration for your wedding day, or some useful Deep Creek info, I hope you'll find a comfy seat, maybe a cup of coffee, and read on!
I’ve photographed this little girl FOUR times. Ok, so maybe she wasn’t technically photographed during her mama’s maternity session, but she was certainly the reason for the first session with these guys. What a HUGE compliment it has been to capture their first year together as a family. Each time Amy emails me to set up another session, I’m flattered and honored. I can only hope that they’ll continue to enjoy their JFP experience and email me again when Stella turns two next year. Maybe even when they add more kiddos to the bunch? 😉
For fun, let’s look back at the previous three sessions with Amy, John and Stella…
Beautiful mama-to-be. Amy was such a pretty preggo subject! 🙂
Then miss Stella arrived…
Then miss Stella grew like a bad weed and before I knew it, she was a happy, smiley, sitting six-month old…
And now she’s over a year old! It’s hard for me to believe how fast the past year has gone, so I can imagine how her parents are feeling. Like I say to all my clients and friends who having fast-growing babies, “It’s time to have another one!” 🙂
We started Stella’s one-year portraits at The Cupcakerie, a super cute, super pink cupcake shop in downtown Morgantown. Stella didn’t dive into the cupcakes as much as we had hoped, but her little-girl cuteness and calm demeanor made up for it.
Pretty little girl! Her smile is a little ornery, don’t ya think? Don’t worry, mom and dad, I think ornery is a good look. 😉
A little change of scenery for this curious little one…
There’s just something about this picture that makes it one of my favorites from the session…
Little-girl cuteness!
Amy and John, you guys totally rock those glasses!
Perfect mama-daughter moment. 🙂
Amy, John and Stella…what can I say?? Having photographed your family FOUR times has been such an honor and I thank you for continuing to bring me back to capture your little growing family. The past year has gone by so quickly…it probably won’t be long until we meet again. Enjoy your sweet little girl…she’s quite a cutie!
Scenes and thoughts from deep creek
Well hey now! I thought for sure it had been more than seven months since I blogged last! Wish I could do it more…and plan to as soon as the new JFP website comes out.
I’m not sure I’m starting anything consistent here, just sharing some random thoughts and scenes from Deep Creek on this random Wednesday…

Jessica is amazing and she made us feel so comfortable! Having her capture our wedding was like having my best friend with me for every moment! Jessica's photos are fun, whimsical, and sophisticated!
We are not a stoic couple and did not want posed (or trying-too-hard) photos! Jessica was able to capture our personalities and the elegance of the day! I can't stop looking at our photos!

The best decision I could have made for my wedding was hiring Jessica Fike as a photographer! I was in a wedding prior that she was a photographer for and seeing how organized and easy and strategic she was to work with is what convinced me! She makes you feel so comfortable and helps teach you how to pose and smile and look so natural! She keeps you on schedule throughout your day and captures so much emotion in her photos. She is worth every penny plus more!
