get to know ME more!
Hi Thank you so much for visiting the blog! Whether you're looking for more pretty pictures, inspiration for your wedding day, or some useful Deep Creek info, I hope you'll find a comfy seat, maybe a cup of coffee, and read on!
My mom and I embarked on this photo booth journey about a month ago with the Morgantown Parents’ Place Silent Auction Fundraiser event. They wanted to provide photography services as a way to raise funds, I suggested going the “fun” route with a non-traditional photo booth, it worked out wonderfully and as a result, sparked a new idea.
Kasey wanted to get as many pictures of her wedding guests as possible. Instead of snapping a picture of everyone as they walked in the door at the reception (can you imagine the line that would create for almost 350 guests??), my mom and I suggested setting up the same non-traditional photo booth. We couldn’t guarantee a picture of every guest, but we could definitely guarantee some added entertainment and fun. 🙂
We walked away from Kasey and Jay’s reception feeling good about the photo booth. My mom had lots of visitors who really enjoyed the props and really seemed to get into the picture-taking. Young and old, quiet and outgoing, this photo booth was for everyone…and I think it was a great success! Thanks, Kasey and Jay, for letting us test this out on your big day! I hope you enjoy these pictures of your guests! I think it’s safe to say they had a good time at your celebration…and we got some GOOD pictures in return! 🙂
I just love all the colors!!!
Haha…the blue glasses…paired with the mustache and hat. Awesome! 🙂
I even got in on the photo booth action! Sara, one of my past brides, and one of her bridesmaids asked to get a picture with me. Thanks for making me feel special, ladies! 🙂
Parents of the bride!
How cute are these two little boys!?!
Time for Kasey to show off those bridal ruffles!
Might be a photo booth favorite from the evening. 🙂
Thanks for your help with this, mom! You did a great job manning the booth and handling the crowd. 🙂
Scenes and thoughts from deep creek
Well hey now! I thought for sure it had been more than seven months since I blogged last! Wish I could do it more…and plan to as soon as the new JFP website comes out.
I’m not sure I’m starting anything consistent here, just sharing some random thoughts and scenes from Deep Creek on this random Wednesday…

Jessica is amazing and she made us feel so comfortable! Having her capture our wedding was like having my best friend with me for every moment! Jessica's photos are fun, whimsical, and sophisticated!
We are not a stoic couple and did not want posed (or trying-too-hard) photos! Jessica was able to capture our personalities and the elegance of the day! I can't stop looking at our photos!

The best decision I could have made for my wedding was hiring Jessica Fike as a photographer! I was in a wedding prior that she was a photographer for and seeing how organized and easy and strategic she was to work with is what convinced me! She makes you feel so comfortable and helps teach you how to pose and smile and look so natural! She keeps you on schedule throughout your day and captures so much emotion in her photos. She is worth every penny plus more!
