get to know ME more!
Hi Thank you so much for visiting the blog! Whether you're looking for more pretty pictures, inspiration for your wedding day, or some useful Deep Creek info, I hope you'll find a comfy seat, maybe a cup of coffee, and read on!
The JFP FIVE DAYS OF GIVEAWAYS have been such a big success! A free seat to the “Cabin Fever” Photog Q&A, a $50 JFP credit, a $15 Dunkin’ Donuts gift card and a custom photo phone case were all given as gifts! Thanks a million to everyone that has visited my blog this week and left such kind words and awesome feedback. Your support is so very much appreciated and it made me feel good about where JFP is today. 🙂
I created this week of giveaways to celebrate the “giving” of the Christmas season. Not only is it a joyful time to give to friends and family, but it’s also a time to give to those in need. Whether it’s shelter, food, safety or health, there are so many people in need and it’s sad to think that they are suffering and going through life challenges, especially this time of year. So I’d like to try do my part. I’d like to do a little bit of extra special “giving” for day five of the giveaways…
A free portrait session for a family in need.
I realize that pictures aren’t a “necessity”, but I know they can be an extra special treat for a family this time of year, especially a family in need. Maybe a family that has never been able to afford professional pictures? Maybe a family working through some medical issues/restraints during the Christmas season? Whatever the family’s unique situation, whatever is keeping them from having family pictures taken, I’d like to give my time to create some special memories and pictures for them.
So here’s how day five of the giveaways will work…
This day does not require 25 comments on this blog post. All you need to do is email me (jessica@jessicafikephotography.com), either for yourself or a family you know, and share a little bit about why the family should receive the gift. I’ll personally choose one family and gift them with a free portrait session. Family pictures can be so joyful and so fulfilling, and they’re something that people can cherish forever. So in light of the season and to celebrate “giving”, I’m excited to give this gift to a family this Christmas…
Scenes and thoughts from deep creek
Well hey now! I thought for sure it had been more than seven months since I blogged last! Wish I could do it more…and plan to as soon as the new JFP website comes out.
I’m not sure I’m starting anything consistent here, just sharing some random thoughts and scenes from Deep Creek on this random Wednesday…

Jessica is amazing and she made us feel so comfortable! Having her capture our wedding was like having my best friend with me for every moment! Jessica's photos are fun, whimsical, and sophisticated!
We are not a stoic couple and did not want posed (or trying-too-hard) photos! Jessica was able to capture our personalities and the elegance of the day! I can't stop looking at our photos!

The best decision I could have made for my wedding was hiring Jessica Fike as a photographer! I was in a wedding prior that she was a photographer for and seeing how organized and easy and strategic she was to work with is what convinced me! She makes you feel so comfortable and helps teach you how to pose and smile and look so natural! She keeps you on schedule throughout your day and captures so much emotion in her photos. She is worth every penny plus more!

Love this. So sweet and so appreciated I’m sure. Blessings to you and your family and a very merry Christmas!
Beautiful idea, Jess.
If you think that this only way it is possible to use pooaotirnml gifts would be to hand them over to customers at conventions and industry events you might find that even a small number of items will need forever to offer away
