Whew! What a whirlwind the past five days have been. Brian and I dropped Ally off with my parents on Wednesday evening, stayed with my best friend Jaclyn near the ‘burgh, got up at 3am for our flight to the Bahamas, spent four days in paradise with Renae, Josh and their families, flew home all day yesterday, got to bed at 2am and were up at 8am for work this morning! We’re tried, but man, what a trip…and opportunity of a lifetime!

This past winter, Renae and Josh contacted me about photographing their wedding in the Bahamas and I saw it as an exciting, once-in-a-lifetime treat…and such a big compliment to my work (thanks Renae and Josh)! Shooting a wedding in the Bahamas with white sand, blue waters and palm trees!?! A dream come true!

While I have way more to share about our trip to the Bahamas including the pre-wedding snorkeling adventure, eating $25 bologna sandwiches and getting to shoot at sunset on one of the prettiest beaches in the world, I’m only going to share a sneak peek for now. AND because I haven’t shared a baby bump picture on the blog yet, and because my baby bump was dressed all pretty for the Bahama wedding on Saturday, I thought I’d share that as well… 🙂

Pretty awesome, right?? I’ll be sure to get this full blog post done as soon as I physically can! Until then, it’s back to portrait sessions, editing my September weddings and house progression (cabinets will be installed this week and the fireplace will be complete!). Yay for lots of exciting things going on with the business and life!
