get to know ME more!
Hi Thank you so much for visiting the blog! Whether you're looking for more pretty pictures, inspiration for your wedding day, or some useful Deep Creek info, I hope you'll find a comfy seat, maybe a cup of coffee, and read on!
I met with Gina and Ed last summer to discuss their wedding and engagement photography possibilities. After having a meeting full of smiles and easy conversation, I knew we’d make a great team. We captured some awesome pictures during their engagement session in Pittsburgh, so we were all geared up and well-practiced for their big day earlier this month.
Even though it rained for the first half of the day, we were still able to get a BUNCH of outdoor pictures! And despite the ugly weather conditions, Gina and Ed were all smiles and positive that they’d have a great wedding day regardless. Definitely a super sweet couple…with an awesome wedding party!
The first thing you must know about Gina and Ed is that they love The Beatles! Their home is decorated with them and they were included in the details at the reception!
My second shooter/assistant for the day, Callie…in action!
Gina was all smiles the whole day!
If you’ve never heard Fr. Bob of Connellsville say a mass or perform a marriage ceremony, you’re missing out. He sang a Beatles song for Gina and Ed during his homily!
The rain literally stopped just minutes before Gina and Ed headed outside after their ceremony. Talk about good timing!
After we left the church, we headed to Twin Lakes Park in Greensburg, PA where there was no sign of rain and lots of sunshine!
One of the best wedding parties I’ve ever worked with…they were friendly, cooperative and definitely wanted to have fun. 🙂
Time for a Beatles-themed reception!
Probably the most epic bridal/money dance picture in JFP history!
Immediately after I packed up for the day, the groomsmen broke out in dance…so the camera had to come back out! So glad I didn’t miss these moments!
Oh Steve K. I know it’s going to be a good party when you’re at the wedding. 😉
Wow, what an easy wedding day! The rain let up just in time, Gina and Ed were super easy-going and the wedding party was awesome! Thanks so much for having me, Mr. and Mrs. Irwin. It was a pleasure working with you and I hope you’ll always find that “all you need is love.” 🙂
Scenes and thoughts from deep creek
Well hey now! I thought for sure it had been more than seven months since I blogged last! Wish I could do it more…and plan to as soon as the new JFP website comes out.
I’m not sure I’m starting anything consistent here, just sharing some random thoughts and scenes from Deep Creek on this random Wednesday…

Jessica is amazing and she made us feel so comfortable! Having her capture our wedding was like having my best friend with me for every moment! Jessica's photos are fun, whimsical, and sophisticated!
We are not a stoic couple and did not want posed (or trying-too-hard) photos! Jessica was able to capture our personalities and the elegance of the day! I can't stop looking at our photos!

The best decision I could have made for my wedding was hiring Jessica Fike as a photographer! I was in a wedding prior that she was a photographer for and seeing how organized and easy and strategic she was to work with is what convinced me! She makes you feel so comfortable and helps teach you how to pose and smile and look so natural! She keeps you on schedule throughout your day and captures so much emotion in her photos. She is worth every penny plus more!
