OK, NOW THE WEATHER.

Warmth and sunshine mostly, with some rain here and there. If you're traveling in, just check the forecast! BUT keep in mind if there's rain in the forecast, it can't be believable until 24 hours out, sometimes less than that.

ALso, even though I've been mentioning warmth and sunshine, and eventhough it's mid-June, still bring a hoodie. If you forget one and want to shop around, Deep Creek Apparel, Cashmere Clothing Co, Bear Creek Traders and The Tourist Trap can help you out.

AND DON'T FORGET...SWALLOW FALLS STATE PARK NOW REQUIRES RESERVATIONS ON WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS.

I have no experience with it yet but you can read all about it here and link to where you'll make online reservations. Reservations can be made starting seven days in advance of a visit and they may be edited or canceled until 8 a.m. the day before the visit. 

Yes this feels like a big inconvenience but I've been to the park on a busy day when the overflow parking is overflowing and the visits become challenging.
